It was a cold start for our season ending tournament
at Hyco lake. I entered the day with a slim six
pound lead over Bob Boggs and knew that could be
gone in one cast. I spent the Sunday prior to the
tournament on Hyco and had a great practice day. I
found a stretch of docks that were holding good
fish. This both excited me as well as concerned me
because Bob is a great dock fisherman.
My day was all about being patient and taking
advantage of the few bites I would be fishing for.
The first dock I fished yielded a three pounder and
a 13 incher. These two fish gave the confidence I
needed to slow down, and stay put and fish for the
fish I found in practice.
Another great year fishing with friends and family
and look forward to 2008...Todd.
