All my fish were caught on one point using a Carolina rig and
green pumpkin trick worms. The point is on the edge of a large flat and
has good cover in several places, and deep water on three sides. I
discovered it in 1997 while looking for new structure spots. It took three hours to catch the first two fish. I think the cloud cover was not good for this spot so I decided to leave and come back around 10:30 when the sun came out. I caught four more keepers in the next hour and a half and then it was over. In my experience with this spot I found in 1997 it has produced about twenty percent of the time. There is a three month period when it can be good, and south west winds and bright sun can make it even better. With this win I think it is time for the horseshoe to fall out ! ! ! |
