Well, another great tournament at Lake Macintosh.  I had found a pretty decent topwater bite while practicing at Macintosh and knew that if I could catch 3 or 4 fish early on topwater, I'd have to catch only a couple more during the day.  The best bite that I could find was on a Pop-R on deep, bluff banks where the fish were hanging out very close to the rocks first thing.  I lost more than I caught on the pop-r as the fish just didn't want to take it but I managed to catch 3 keepers on it.  With 1 hour left in the tournament, I caught a 4 lb fish on a carolina rig in about 12 -13 foot of water and that made my 4th and final fish.  The bite got extremely tough as the sun came up and the blue bird sky didn't seem to make things any easier.  All in all, I had a good day at Macintosh and look forward to getting out and practice for the next tournament at Falls. See yall there...
