     In pre fishing for this tournament I caught one of the biggest fish of my life, a 10.2 on an older hand  held scale.  The water temp was in the upper 40's for the tournament and the water level was slowly rising a little above normal.  The fish I had been catching were shallow, not a lot of fish but nice ones. I knew a deep bite was present but with forecast winds of 15 to 25  and gusts to 30.  I went  shallow all day. I had four bites, caught two fish both on a red spinner bait with a Colorado blade.  Hey guys, I had a blast for sure.  Kerr lake is next on April 5th and I am really looking forward to it, see yall there.....
