I got lucky!
Fishing was slow for me on Saturday. I spent most of my time between the
Wiccacon and the landing and decided to go down river for Sunday.
The weather was warming and the winds light so I headed below
Holiday Island to fish some of the shallow spawning areas. The
water was low all day which meant I spent a lot of time getting off logs
and knees, but the fish were there. I pitched a 6 inch worm with 1/8
ounce wt. the whole day.
Chowan bass fight harder then any lake fish!
What a great weekend, I woke up Monday ready to go down again.
