A pretty tough tournament here on Jordan Lake.  I had no time to practice and hadn't been on the lake since the late summer so I was hoping for a fish or two during the day.  I caught my first fish within the first 5 minutes on a crankbait on the rip-rap.  With the wind blowing 20-30 mph during the day the water was pounding on the rocks all day long and the cloud cover made it a perfect situation to catch active fish holding along the rip-rap so I stayed with it all day long.  I ended up catching another keeper around 10 am on a spinnerbait and my final fish came on a crankbait along another stretch of rip-rap.  I believe I had 5 bites total; 3 keepers and 2 short fish. All in all it was a decent day on Jordan and I was satisfied with the weight that I had.  I will be doing my homework at Hyco during the next week or 2 so I look forward to seeing everyone there for the final tournament of 2008.
