I fished White Oak
four hours Friday, shallow and deep without a bite.
Saturday I decided to try something different and start on what had been
the windy side of 64 rip rap on Friday. Half an hour of fighting the
accumulated
pine needles was enough so I moved into Beaver and started flipping
trees.
Within ten casts I had my first keeper from 47.4 degree muddy water.
This was going to be great I thought, but four hours later still only
one bite.
I finished the day in Bush with a total of three bites and three fish.
All came from the base of large trees positioned no more than six feet
from dry bank
and in shady areas. Let's hope for 305 at Kerr |
